ViewPoint Perspectives (V2P) goes live!

Dear fellow human,

Let me start with a warm welcome! This is officially Day 1 in the ViewPoint Perspective chronology, my first post (yeahhh!).

So what is ViewPoint Perspectives – or in short V2P – about? It is about peeling off the superficial layer of our surroundings and peek behind the veil, to uncover the unseen that so often hides right in front of our eyes. Admiring the genuine beauty of our world, the countless tiny miracles around us, the random find that brings a smile to your face, the lucky shot you could never have planned. Like the one below, captured by myself from the San Francisco Golden Gate Bridge in May 2016 – two humpback whales forcing a surprised windsurfer to make way for them.

The initial idea to ViewPoint Perspectives was born already more than 20 years ago, and it matured ever since. So what got me to today?

  • Finding a passion for photography
  • Getting accustomed to the technology
  • Spending time accumulating ViewPoint Perspectives
  • Creating the message to give and the messaging concept
  • Securing a web presence / domain (www.viewpointperspectives.com)
  • Creating level 1 of social media presence (viewpointperspectives, Instagram)
  • Sifting through many (many, many) GB of photo data and selecting a starting portfolio
  • Getting ‘Who I am?’ and ‘What is this about?’ pages ready
  • And finally – pluck up the courage to go live (Hey, what can go wrong?) đŸ™‚

And where to go from here, after day 1? The opportunities are endless, a different exciting path behind each of the virtual doors in front of me. For now I decided that whatever the path, it will be colorful & bright in its own way. Starting with a 30-day challenge on Instagram soon, releasing one new picture everyday under #v2p. And much more to come very soon… so stay tuned!

In case you want to join me on that ride, leave a comment below, bookmark this page for future posts, post your own discoveries under #v2p or Follow Me under @viewpointperspectives on Instagram.
