I know there are many inspiring, creative and informative blogs out there already – so why adding yet another one? One which is neither a thoroughbred travel blog, nor intended to be(come) a technically versed photography tutorial. In case you have been to my ‘Who am I?’ page, you probably already have an idea. ViewPoint Perspectives aim to blend outdoor adventure and photography. Specifically moving the focus from the things clearly in front of our eyes to the less obvious viewpoints and the often unnoticed perspectives.
Why would that add any value, you may ask? Smartphones make it so easy these days to capture every moment relevant to us. Social media is an endless source of brilliant shots of landmarks all around the globe. And do not get me wrong – everyone loves a great shot of a famous landmark – including myself.
But there is more to it! Our hectic lifes often make us rush passed a whole hidden universe worth discovering. Countless tiny miracles around us, the random find that brings a smile to your face, the lucky shot you could never have planned. A picture that truly captures the unique essence of a place.
I invite you to join me in having a peek behind that veil. Taking a pause to peel off the superficial layer of our surroundings, uncovering the unseen that so often hides right in front of our eyes and admire the genuine beauty of our world. Present at your doorstep, in your neighborhood, often easily accessable and without much time and money needed for travel.
